Post abortion therapy provides a safe space to talk through the different emotions you may be feeling. Therapy can be helpful in coping with unhelpful thoughts and behaviours. Together we can help you learn relaxation techniques, emotional regulation and coping strategies whilst you’re struggling.
The decision to end a pregnancy is rarely easy, but there is help available. Life throws us many curve balls and sometimes we need a hand catching them. Never be afraid to reach out for support. We are here to help, to listen and to talk. Whatever it is that you need from our sessions together, we can offer that support.
Choose from single sessions, or we can arrange a series of six or twelve post abortion therapy sessions to suit your needs. Feel free to use the link below or contact us if you would like to discuss your therapy.
The stresses that abortion causes are profound and different for each individual who goes through it. I have worked as a therapist for over 30 years, more than 15 years has been dedicated to specialist post abortion therapy. In my experience, there is no set reaction to this event; every one deals with it differently. However, most people do benefit from professional help when processing what has happened. And help is here. I can work with you on coping strategies, relaxation techniques and more. We can talk together and move forward to see the world in a better light and remember that there are still positive experiences to come.
Choose to have one on one sessions or bring in a significant other if you would like to have the support. Sometimes explaining things to a third person can help you form the words that have eluded you before.
