The stresses that abortion causes are profound and different for each individual who goes through it. I have worked as a therapist for over 30 years, more than 15 years has been dedicated to specialist post abortion therapy. In my experience, there is no set reaction to this event; every one deals with it differently. However, most people do benefit from professional help when processing what has happened.
